Soft fabric sewing boxes are probably the best way of organising all your sewing notions and accessories. Available in a variety of styles and sizes. When purchasing a sewing basket work out what you are going to put in it first. They are great for putting things like French chalk, tape measures, seam rippers in, but they are not so good for some of the larger modern notions.

As well as the fabric variety there are also more traditional sewing boxes constructed in wood. With the ability to seemingly endlessly fold out they can hold alot of notions and haberdashery. They also look less out of place in the Living room and I remember one from my childhood
